Water Sport
Cost del Sol is a mecca for water sports, thanks to the proximity of the coastlines, as well as the numerous lakes and reservoirs. Outdoor sports have a large following in Costa del Sol and there is clubs for most water sports in all major Costa del Sol resorts and instruction is generally available.

The cleanliness of its waters and the warm climate make this coast a popular place in which to enjoy water sports.
The beaches in the south of Costa del Sol have the best winds due to the Straits of Gibraltar, but in general the winds on the coast are mild and the water is usually calm for most water sports.
