City nightlife
There is a healthy nightlife in all the major cities in the Costa del Sol and the streets are normally full of people enjoying themselves throughout the summer season and over weekends all year round. 

Recently the ports and marinas have started to become the preferred place to go out at night.  Tourist can go on late into night without disturbing the rest of the population. Popular bars and pubs are now established in the ports and marinas of most major towns and cities in the Costa del Sol.

Malaga is the Costa del Sol capital, where you can appreciate life lived on the streets with more bars per square meter than anywhere else in Europe. Torremolinos and Benalmadena as tourist centres have a thriving nightlife.

For swankier surrounds head for Marbella's Golden Mile, illuminated with a glittering tiara of star-studded restaurants, discos and night clubs, frequented by local boy Banderas whenever he's in town.
