Malaga
Malaga is the major coastal city of Andalusia, situated on the banks of the Guadalmedina River. It has 16 beautiful beaches of which most have a sea promenade and are situated within the urban area.

The history of the capital of the Costa del Sol starts on the sea, with the first navigators who sailed the Mediterranean from the Far East and landed on its coast. Malaga was founded in ancient times by Phoenicians, was of great importance to the Moors and rose to its fore during the 1800’s when sweet Malaga wine was Europe’s most popular tipple.

Today the city is the second most important destination for cruise liners in Spain whilst its airport receives visitors from all over the world and many use its comprehensive transport network. But this town has more to offer than just seaside and sunshine!
Whether you are visiting Malaga for the purpose of shopping, eating or for an evening drink the places to head for are the entwined Marques de Larios, Plaza de la Constitucion & Calle de Granada. The locals are welcoming, hospitable and the atmosphere vibrant.
